Adding Controls and Components to the Toolbox
To get started using the NetAdvantage for .NET controls and components in the Microsoft® Visual Studio® .NET IDE, you can add them to your Visual Studio toolbox in any of the following ways:
- Running the Toolbox Utility -- Run the Create Visual Studio Toolbox Tab utility. Running this utility creates a new toolbox tab in Visual Studio .NET for the Windows Forms tools, and an additional tab for the ASP.NET tools. It then adds all of the available tools in the NetAdvantage for .NET toolkit to their respective tabs in Visual Studio .NET.
- Using the Choose Toolbox Items Dialog Box -- Manually add the NetAdvantage for .NET controls and components to the Visual Studio .NET toolbox using the Choose Toolbox Items dialog box.
- Dragging Assemblies from the Bin Folder -- Manually add the NetAdvantage for .NET controls and components to the Visual Studio .NET toolbox by dragging assemblies from the Bin folder to a new tab in the toolbox.
